Low Time Commitment

We are all struggling for time, juggling our schedules, sometimes wondering how we can be in two places at one time.

The nice thing about participating in a 5K is that if you are stressed for time, it truly is a low commitment of your time. For example, if you are running a 10 minute mile, it will take you just over 30 minutes to complete the course. If you choose to walk the 5K, you should be able to complete the course in roughly one hour!


Release those endorphins

Endorphins are a neurotransmitter released by the body after exercise.

Endorphins not only help to block pain but they also trigger the brain to release dopamine, a chemical that affects movement and causes us to feel pleasure. Put these two actions together and you’re left with less pain and a great mood.

Who wouldn’t want to sign up for that?
